The horticultural activities promote civic and environmental responsibility. We continually nurture the five Village Gardens that created and cared for by the Antioch Garden Club members. New plants are planted in these gardens throughout the growing season. The spring and fall clean-up and scheduled watering procedure insure the healthy and beautiful plant growth every year. Through these activities, members have opportunities to learn sound horticultural practice, better define gardening tasks and their scheduling, pursue high standards of maintenance and care that adopted by the club, and promote and cultivate camaraderie amongst club members. We also actively participate local and states flower garden shows, and other horticultural and conservation projects that have earned us many awards through club participation and individual accomplishment.
